Can you walk back from a top of a mountain looking at the top of it all the time?. Maybe you can. But it will take you far longer, you will not be comfortable, you have big chances of bumping into something and getting hurt. The same applies all the way around. Try walking to the top of the mountain looking all the time to the bottom of it. Well, thats what we do in our every day lives. We are not very conscious of our acts, but thats what we do. Probably not all the time, but most of the time, and the worst is that we are used to it. Thats why sometimes we got surprised by someone that walks down the mountain looking down all the time. She is going faster, she is more comfortable, and usually she will be smiling. We are taught that looking all the time to the top is the only way we are going to achieve it. Not being aware that the top is just a part of the whole. And yep, the views from the top are usually breathtaking, so mindblowing that we want to have them  forever. We want to live on the top. But the view of the top is made out of the things on the bottom, without nothing on the bottom the view would be empty. The bottom is where things happen. Where real people lives. Where things change.

Ciudad Cosmopolita

Son esos lugares que los centros de las ciudades centrifugan a la periferia. Esos espacios que caminan sobre los bordes. Esos sitios que a ella le recordaban a los cuentos que le solían leer de pequeña. Eran dónde ocurrían las cosas, donde la gente creaba, sonreía, era amable, era feliz. Era dónde su imaginación volaba cuando quería escapar.

Es allí donde llegó, ese día que quería escapar, quería volar. Y así encontró aquel lugar, ropa, exposiciones de arte, muebles reciclados y proyectos de interiorismo, todo en el mismo espacio. Y sonrió, sonrió.

Amsterdam, Berlin eta Londres etorri jakozan burura berehala. Hiri erditik kanpo, kale estuak, jente diferentea, algarea eta zaratea. Dendara sartu zenean ingelesez egiteko prest egoan, hain ebilen amesti. Baina barruko mongolo biak euskeraz berba egiten entzun, eta, berehala, konturatu zan Bilbon egoala. Poztasun ederra hartu eban, erropea, arte erakusketak, altzari erreziklauak, eta interiorismo proiektuak, dana espazio berean, eta, gainera, euskeraz.

She felt like stepping out of her usual path. It just came out of the blue. It wasn´t coming out of a thought, out of a desire, not even a need. It just happened. She got lost on her way, but she felt at peace, she knew she was on her way.

The place was lightfull, white. The clothes were giving the colour touch to it. The art expositions fill the place with creativity. There was also recycled furniture and they could even do interior design projects. All run by a couple of mongoloids, sometimes happy, sometimes drifting away, but always being happy to help her.

Behinola Mongolia gunean errege bat bilozik sartu zan. Barruko mongoloek erregea biluzik egoala ikusita, hala esan eutsien eta erropeagaz jantzi eben. Erregea egoera berriagaz liluratuta, dendako altzairu erreziklau baten jesarri zan eta ikuspegi horretatik aukera ederra euki eban arte erakusketeaz gozetako. Trantze horretan egoala, mongoloek esan eutsien: "gura badozu, interiorismo proiektu bat garatuko deutsugu zure gaztelua bizitasunez betetzeko"...

No era un espacio más, tampoco era un espacio menos. Era un espacio, de eso estaban seguros. Pero no solo era un espacio. Era un momento también. Un espacio temporal. Y es así como espaciaban el tiempo: hablando, compartiendo, vendiendo ropa, exponiendo arte, con muebles reciclados y proyectos de interiorismo que desarrollaban para que los espacios fueran más que eso. Que fuesen espacios, que fuesen momentos...
